Lea Kyle, a talented French artist who changes quickly, is the latest contestant to receive a Golden Buzzer on “America’s Got Talent”. The performer also received a standing ovation from the four judges after delivering a phenomenal act of rapid change.

After loud cheers from the audience, Heidi Klum declared Lea Kyle her Golden Buzzer competitor for the season. As the 25-year-old performer bowed down with tears of joy, a shower of golden confetti marked her entry straight into the live shows.

During his act, Kyle magically switched from one outfit to another in a split second, leaving the judges mesmerized in their seats. Right after the performance, Howie Mandel mentioned:

“We’ve seen artists change quickly on this show, but I’ve never seen a better one than you. Seeing the outfit fly off the hanger at you is magical and your presentation is beautiful.”

Judge Sofia Vergara added:

“I am so in shock! You were having fun while you were doing it. It was wonderful.”

Media mogul Simon Cowell complimented:

“I think when we see this kind of act, there are always two people normally in the act and the music is terrible but it was very, very cool and you have an incredible showmanship. It was world class!

Finally, Heidi Klum shared that Lea Kyle was doing “real magic” before hitting the Golden Buzzer for the night:

“He loved it too, you were doing real magic.” It was absolutely amazing and spotless. You know how much I love fashion, and I feel like we’ve never really had someone as good as you, so I think you should go straight to the shows.

To the applause of the audience, Heidi Klum took the stage to congratulate a very moved Lea Kyle.

All about Lea Kyle and her journey to the magic of quick change

Lea Kyle is originally from Bordeaux, France, and specializes in the magic of quick change. She discovered her passion for magic after meeting her boyfriend and former AGT contestant Florian Sainvet, a professional magician.

In the intro sequence for “America’s Got Talent,” Lea Kyle shared her journey to the stage:

“I became a beautician, it wasn’t my dream job, but it was a way for me to earn a living. Eight years ago I met my boyfriend Florian. Last year he was on “America’s Got Talent”. One day, Florian asked me to play with him and it was my first time on stage.

Following public support after his first performance, Kyle decided to combine his two passions “performance and fashion”. Besides magic, she is trained in Haute Couture and did her studies in Bordeaux.

Lea Kyle was crowned French Champion of Magic in 2019. She is also the winner of the French General Magic Championship, the French Public Prize Championship and the Villebarou International Magic Festival.

Lea Kyle was honored with the 2020 Gold Mandrake, considered the “Oscar of Magic”. She has already participated in “France’s Got Incredible Talent” and “Penn and Teller: Fool Us”, among others. She also lifted the trophy by winning the latter.

Before even taking the stage, Lea Kyle mentioned that she couldn’t wait to impress Heidi Klum with her performance:

“I am so excited to meet Heidi Klum because she is a fashion queen.”

Earning Klum’s Golden Buzzer left Kyle speechless as she immediately burst into tears:

“It’s amazing! Wow I have no words. It’s so crazy.

Lea Kyle has impressed French audiences with her quick change number on several occasions during her career. With her incredible performance in AGT, she has already taken the first step to impress global audiences.

With Heidi Klum’s Golden Buzzer, Lea Kyle will join Jimmie Herrod, Nightbirde, Northwell Nurse Choir and World Taekwondo for direct live performances.
