Transat Distribution Canada’s certified LuxeXperts will join Virtuoso
Transat Distribution Canada (TDC) has announced that select LuxeXpert-certified travel professionals within its network have become members of the global luxury travel group Virtuoso.
Virtuoso includes top leisure travel agencies in North America, Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Africa and the Middle East.
Select LuxeXpert-certified travel professionals from the TDC network and Virtuoso members will now have access to exclusive values for their customers. Virtuoso says its hotel program benefits are worth more than $500 per stay.
“Joining Virtuoso is one of the key steps in our strategy to develop the luxury market, which began a few years ago and has accelerated in light of the pandemic, particularly in response to the growing demand consumers for luxury travel,” said TDC’s chief executive. Louise Fecteau.
“The development of our LuxeXpert certification has enabled our many travel professionals who already specialize in the luxury segment to perfect their knowledge and expertise. Virtuoso is a major complement to the many resources that our LuxeXpert certified travel professionals will now have access to, to fulfill their customers desires.
Virtuoso leverages its $25 billion to $30 billion in annual sales to broker upgrades, amenities, values, and experiences exclusively for clients of its member agencies. For clients of TDC’s LuxeXpert Certified Travel Professionals, this can mean complimentary hotel upgrades, airport transfers, unique dining experiences, exclusive shore excursions and personalized itineraries.
“Only the most reputable travel professionals are welcome at Virtuoso and we are honored to be among them,” said Fecteau. “Through our Virtuoso Affiliation, our LuxeXpert Certified Travel Professionals will now be able to offer our luxury customers even greater benefits that translate into better value and an unforgettable travel experience.”
“We are thrilled to expand our presence in Canada by inviting LuxeXperts into the Virtuoso network,” said úna O’Leary, Managing Director of Virtuoso, Canada.
“Their commitment to meeting the demands and expectations of luxury consumers mirrors our own, and we look forward to helping LuxeXperts further grow this side of their business through our partner programs, marketing vehicles and professional development. “
