Meghan Markle’s Favorite Place for an Ultra-Luxury Girls’ Trip
The Duchess of Sussex’s former lifestyle blog, The Tig, has revealed her favorite travel destination for a luxury holiday. Discover St Barth, the wife of Prince Harry’s largest Caribbean island.
The Duchess of Sussex is no stranger to luxury travel, having spent much of her youth exploring lavish islands and glamorous cities, before embarking on royal tours with Prince Harry after their marriage in 2018.

The Combinations The actress previously revealed her favorite destination for a girls’ trip on her former lifestyle blog, The Tig – and it sounds every bit as idyllic as it sounds. Meghan wrote about her time in Saint-Barthélemy, a French-speaking Caribbean island commonly known as Saint-Barth.

According to Business Insider, St Barth’s array of stunning beaches, luxury yachts, designer boutiques and delicious restaurants have helped it become a travel mecca. But it wasn’t just the luxury aspect that appealed to the Duchess.

Meghan wrote about her trips to St Barths on The Tiger
The mother-of-two loves the white-sand island for its “Francophile sensibility as insular as it is chic, its quiet beaches, its authentic Creole cuisine and a place where strolls along cobbled streets and visits to French pharmacies rival those found in Paris.”
In fact, Meghan even wrote that she preferred to take a more low-key approach to her trip, “with a healthy dose of chic goodness sprinkled in,” of course.

Describing herself as a “mermaid [her] friends couldn’t hang out in the sea,” Meghan revealed that Grand Saline Beach is the place for crystal clear waters and unparalleled island vibes.
Foodie at heart, Meghan told her readers: “Perhaps the best part of Saline is that it’s a stone’s throw from Grain de Sel, an authentic Caribbean restaurant serving Creole classics. Don’t miss this culinary gem, where the bites are as thrilling as the vacation itself.
